The Full Story
Welcome to ABTCA
Since 1949, the All Breed Training Club of Akron (ABTCA) has been helping people improve their relationships with their dogs and have fun doing it! We are an AKC recognized, volunteer-driven, growing organization committed to nurturing loyalty, love and wet noses in the greater Akron area! As a 501c3, we proudly support a variety of community programs. This includes fundraisers for pet pantries, scholarships to provide training to foster dogs, and dog-themed book drives for local elementary schools, all designed to make a positive impact together​. Membership Details

Eligibility: All members must be 18 years of age or older.

Annual Dues: $30 per individual.

Note: We currently offer individual memberships only; household memberships are not available at this time.

Volunteering at ABTCA
ABTCA is operated solely by dedicated volunteers who share a passion for canine companionship. Whether you're helping at a trial, assisting in a class or part of a community event, volunteering offers a front-row seat to learning more about dog sports and behavior.

Class Offerings & Pricing
Dog & Handler Classes
Education is the core of our mission! We offer a wide range of dog classes from puppy to enrichment and specialty classes. Sessions are typically 5-6 weeks.

To register for a class, you must complete our class registration form and submit your pet’s vaccine records before your pet can attend class at ABTCA.

Class Pricing
ABTCA classes are competitively priced where most classes are $95 for non-members for a 6-week session. Members, may earn discounts by volunteering. Learn more about becoming a member.
