Rally Obedience

Rally is a collaborative sport that serves as an excellent introduction to dog sports. Teams must demonstrate basic household manners, working together on a designated course. Handlers and dogs navigate numbered signs each indicating a specific exercise designed to evaluate the dog's focus, obedience, precision, and teamwork. Exercises may include sit, down, turns, recall, heel, and stay.  As the handler runs through the course, points are deducted for missed tasks. Rally consists of several levels: Beginning with Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Excellent, and Masters, with more advanced levels being timed or performed off-leash.
